{"id":756,"date":"2011-01-04T20:42:45","date_gmt":"2011-01-05T01:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faculty.bbc.edu\/mstallard\/?p=756"},"modified":"2011-01-04T20:42:45","modified_gmt":"2011-01-05T01:42:45","slug":"covenant-theology-and-dispensationalism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/our-hope.org\/blog\/2011\/01\/covenant-theology-and-dispensationalism\/","title":{"rendered":"Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I started teaching a module, a\u00a0Masters level course, at Baptist Bible Seminary on covenant theology.\u00a0 Since I am a traditional dispensationalist, the analysis and critique will certainly be from outside the system of covenant theology.\u00a0 All of the required books in the course are by covenant theologians.\u00a0 I figured my students may not have read the covenant guys on their terms.\u00a0 I am having them read Michael Horton&#8217;s book <em>Introducing Covenant Theology<\/em>, G. I.
