The eighth annual Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics has been scheduled for September 16-17, 2015 at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Our topic this year is “Dispensationalism, Israel, and the Church.” I am doing a paper on what Israel and the Church share from a traditional dispensational point of view. I believe that we often times spend all of our time discussing the distinctions. This is appropriate since it marks dispensationalism as unique. However, Israel and the Church do share some things in God’s design for those institutions. We must not lose sight of that side of things. I am looking forward to the interaction at our Council. Anyone is welcome to attend as an observer. There is no charge for the two-day Council. For more information for registration see http://www.bbc.edu/council.

Dr. Stallard;
My name is Juan-Jose Cavallo, I am from South Florida, am a child of Florida Bible Church (formerly connected to Florida Bible College), and I now attend Westminster Seminary. I wanted to attend this past year’s council, but between Greek and my work schedule I had to alter my plans. (I am actually still a card-carrying dispensationalist of some rite or another (presently more the MacArthur-Master’s seminary variety); that is why I really appreciate the work of the Council.)
Question: when BBS had its own website, there was a whole page for past Council on Dispensational Hermeneutics papers. Will that be available in the future again? There are some things I would like to re-read as I go forward in my coursework from past councils.
Thank you for your time;
-Juan-Jose

Juan,
I have been inactive for a while. I have been told that they are redoing the website. The plan is to get the Council info back up shortly.
